The Game: Another Awesome game from Rare featuring some our favorite characters.
Gameplay: Diddy kong racing is a reincarnation of Nintendo’s very own Mario kart, except in some aspects way better. Diddy Kong racing features, many characters, some old and some new. It also features the ability to race by air, sea or land.
Visuals: The game runs at a pretty good frame rate not to fast not to slow just right. Some of the visuals are stunning like some of the levels in spaceport alpha. The textures are pretty good in DKR to. Although at times can get blurred and overused but that rarely noticeable
Audio:The sound effects aren’t that bad in this game although i think that the kids laughing at the beginning is well different. But most of all the other effects are good especially when you put oil on the race track man i could listen to that effect over and over again and never get tired of it because it is sounds so smooth and well digitized. The music tracks rare had chosen really suit the game well it matches it excellent.
Control: The control of this game is very similar to the ones used in Mario kart so it shouldn’t need much explaining. You move your character with the analog joy stick shoot weapons with the z button, power slide with R and toggle between camera angles and speedometer and map with the c buttons.
Replay Value:This game is a pretty sweet game if you like the cute little character and Mario kart style game play which I do then your going to really enjoy this game. The replay value is soso once your done the game there is nothing really to make you want to come back and replay it again.
